In the first Detroit Red Wings game of the 2015-16 season, Dylan Larkin scored his first career goal in what was also his NHL debut. At the very start of the second period with the teams playing four-on-four, Detroit gains possession off the face off. Regrouping in the defensive zone, the puck eventually gets to Henrik Zetterberg in the neutral zone where he feeds a streaking Larkin on the left side. The Michigan native then skates it into the zone and rips a shot short-side high in front of the Detroit crowd. Larkin had an impressive rookie campaign netting 23 goals and 45 points in 80 games played.
