Sam Reinhart had a storybook season. After reaching the 50-goal milestone for the first time in his career and finishing the regular season with 57 goals, he scored the Stanley Cup-clinching goal in Game 7. Late in the second period of a tied game, Edmonton narrowly missed a scoring opportunity, allowing Florida to break out of its zone. Carter Verhaeghe passed the puck to Reinhart, who advanced up the ice. With Verhaeghe and Aleksander Barkov driving to the net, the Edmonton defense backed up, giving Reinhart the space to move in and take a wrist shot that beat the goalie. His goal secured the Panthers' first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
