In his first full NHL season, rookie Trevor Zegras pulled off a jaw-dropping play behind the Buffalo net. With the puck on his stick, Zegras executed a lacrosse-style move, scooping it up before flipping it over the net to teammate Sonny Milano. Milano batted the puck out of the air and into the net before the Sabres’ defenders could react. Zegras’ dazzling assist set up the eventual game-winning goal in Anaheim’s 2-0 victory.
