Matt Boldy, who was born in Massachusetts, scored his first career NHL goal while making his League debut in his home state against the Boston Bruins in 2021-22. Boldy, the 12th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, gains the zone with the puck and works a give-and-go with his Minnesota Wild teammates Marcus Foligno and Nico Sturm. Receiving the puck back from Foligno, Boldy roofs it short side for what stood as the game-winning goal.
