Brett Hull, the son of legendary goal scorer Bobby Hull, carried on the family legacy as one of the NHL’s most prolific goal scorers. Having already surpassed his father’s 610 career goals earlier in his career, Brett reached the 700-goal milestone in February 2003 while playing for the Detroit Red Wings, becoming just the sixth player in NHL history to achieve the feat. Positioned on the weak side, Hull hammered home a cross-ice pass with a signature one-timer to secure the milestone. A Hart Trophy winner and two-time Stanley Cup champion, Hull joined his father in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009.
