The Seattle Kraken won their first-ever playoff series going seven games versus the Colorado Avalanche. In doing so, they became the first NHL expansion team to eliminate the defending champions in their playoff debut. In Game 7 in Denver, Oliver Bjorkstrand scored both goals for Seattle in their thrilling 2-1 win. On the series-winning goal, the play begins with a nice chip off the wall by teammate Eeli Tolvanen who beat the pinching defenseman to the puck. Headed up the ice with speed, Bjorkstrand gains possession of the puck just inside Colorado’s blueline where he gains inside positioning and snaps a shot post-and-in for his second goal of the game.
