Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron leads the rush up the ice before dishing the puck to Brad Marchand and driving the net to create space for Marchand to eventually score the goal that would earn Bergeron his 1,000th career NHL point. Marchand immediately recognizes the accomplishment and teammates flood the ice to celebrate. At the time, Bergeron became the 94th player in history to record 1,000 points. Known for his two-way abilities, Bergeron extended his record by winning his sixth Frank J. Selke Trophy in 2022-23.
