A smart hockey player gifted with soft hands who has always been willing to play in traffic, Dallas Stars forward Joe Pavelski nets his 1,000th career point with a trademark tip-in goal. In the milestone play, Pavelski loses the defenders as he pops into the slot just before teammate Miro Heiskanen is ready to shoot from the point. Typical of many Pavelski goals, he is net-front and shows great hand-eye coordination in tipping it in for the Stars’ fifth goal of the game. Teammates immediately flood the ice in celebration of Pavelski’s accomplishment.
