Joe Nieuwendyk was an elite two-way center and a proven winner during his 20-season NHL career. A three-time Stanley Cup champion with three different teams (Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars and New Jersey Devils), he scored 564 goals. Known for his leadership and clutch performances, Nieuwendyk won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1999 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011. While with the Devils, he scored his 500th career goal in spectacular fashion, evading a defenseman and cutting across the crease to tuck the puck around the goalie. Later that season, he capped off his illustrious career by capturing his third and final Stanley Cup.
