Since Matthew Tkachuk joined the Panthers, Florida has made three consecutive Stanley Cup Final appearances, winning the last two. His impact has been undeniable, and it seemed only fitting that he sealed the championship with the clinching goal in Game 6 at home. Late in the first period, Tkachuk, trailing the play, entered the zone and received a perfect pass from Eetu Luostarinen. With the puck, he patiently waited for traffic to form in front of the net before firing a shot past the goaltender. Tkachuk’s postseason heroics were even more remarkable considering he battled through significant injuries, yet still managed to average a point per game and tie for the team lead with 23 points.
