Marc-Andre Fleury joined the Chicago Blackhawks in July 2021, bringing championship experience and steady leadership to a team in transition. On February 18, 2022, Fleury stood tall against the Dallas Stars, stopping all 29 shots in a hard-fought 1–0 shootout loss at the United Center. One of his standout moments came in the final seconds of the second period, when he made an incredible glove save to deny Roope Hintz all alone in front of the net. Despite the loss, his performance was a clear reminder of why he was one of the league’s most dependable goaltenders throughout his career. Fleury appeared in 45 games that season before being traded to the Minnesota Wild in March 2022.
