Chosen 120th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2012 NHL Draft, defenseman Jaccob Slavin netted his first career goal during the 2015-16 season on Dec. 8, 2015, against the Dallas Stars. Skating the puck up the ice, Slavin dished it to Eric Staal on the far side before driving to the net. He then buried a rebound sitting in the crease from a Riley Nash shot, scoring his first NHL goal.
