In his fourth NHL season — and second as a full-time contributor — Simon Edvinsson continues to take meaningful strides on the Detroit Red Wings blue line. Logging significant minutes, often on the top pair, Edvinsson delivered in a big moment at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs. In overtime, he collected the puck just inside the blue line, made a smooth move around a defender, shifted to his backhand, and calmly tucked the puck around the goaltender for the winner.
