Towards the end of the 2009-10 regular season, the Philadelphia Flyers hosted the Chicago Blackhawks. With the game tied in the final minute of the third period, Chris Pronger emerged as the hero in front of the home crowd. Engaging in an offensive rush orchestrated by Claude Giroux, Pronger made a beeline for the net as the puck crossed the blue line. Giroux skillfully located Pronger and delivered a beautiful saucer pass, which Pronger redirected into the net with a mere three seconds left on the clock. The Flyers advanced to the Stanley Cup Final that season, ultimately succumbing to the Blackhawks in six games. Pronger led all defensemen in playoff points with 18 in 23 games.
