Matthew Tkachuk made an immediate impact after joining the Florida Panthers for the 2022-23 season, revitalizing the team and leading them to the Stanley Cup Final in his first year. Although they fell short in 2023, Tkachuk was the standout of those playoffs, scoring 11 goals, including four game-winners—three of which came in overtime. His relentless determination and competitive spirit reshaped the team's mindset, setting the stage for their Stanley Cup victory just one season later in 2024.  
Tkachuk's heroics were particularly evident in the 2023 Eastern Conference Final against the Carolina Hurricanes. In Game 1, which extended to four overtime periods, he netted the winner in Carolina. He followed up in Game 2 with another game-winning goal, this time in the first overtime, still on the road. Finally, in Game 4, with only five seconds remaining in the third period, Tkachuk scored the series-clinching goal, sending the home Panthers crowd into a frenzy and cementing his legacy as the hero of that series.

Matthew Tkachuk

Entering the 2024-25 season, Connor McDavid has solidified his dominance in the NHL over nine remarkable seasons. The 3-time Hart Trophy, 5-time Art Ross Trophy, Maurice Richard Trophy, and Conn Smythe Trophy winner has accumulated 982 points, leading the league by 141 points since his debut. Known for his extraordinary skill and relentless drive, McDavid has delivered countless unforgettable plays throughout his career.  
One iconic moment occurred during the "Battle of Alberta" in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs when McDavid clinched the series in Game 5 with an overtime goal, marking his first playoff overtime winner. In the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, where McDavid earned the Conn Smythe Trophy, he broke Wayne Gretzky’s single playoff season assist record. A highlight from that run was his signature assist in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, where he set up Corey Perry for the game winning goal. Additionally, in the Western Conference Final against Dallas, McDavid scored a sensational goal in Game 6 to clinch the series, further cementing his legacy as one of the game's all-time greats.
