At just 19 years old and in only his second NHL season, Macklin Celebrini has taken the league by storm. His elite skating and natural scoring touch were on full display against Winnipeg. Spotting an opening, he blew past the Jets’ defense, took a pass in stride, and left back-to-back Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck frozen with a fake shot before sliding the puck to his backhand and tucking it home for a beauty. Celebrini later added an assist on the game winner.
