After trailing three games to one in their Western Conference Semifinals series against the Detroit Red Wings, the Chicago Blackhawks won back-to-back games to force a decisive Game 7 at home. Tied 1-1, the game went into overtime. As play unfolded along the boards, the puck found its way to Brent Seabrook, who skated through open ice, carried it across the blue line, and unleashed a wrist shot from the top of the circles. The shot deflected off a defender and past the goaltender for the game winner. Chicago went on to win the Stanley Cup that year, defeating the Boston Bruins.
