Originally a first-round pick of Tampa Bay in 2022, Isaac Howard began his NHL journey with the Edmonton Oilers after being acquired in a summer 2025 trade. Just a few months later, in his sixth career game, Howard found the back of the net for his first NHL goal. The play started with Connor McDavid forcing a turnover in the offensive zone, allowing Leon Draisaitl to spot Howard open in the slot, where he ripped a shot past the Ottawa goaltender.
