With 21 career hat tricks to his name, including two in the postseason, David Pastrnak has a knack for finding the back of the net. One particularly memorable performance came against the rival Montreal Canadiens in February 2020. Early in the first period, Pastrnak opened the scoring off a perfect feed from Brad Marchand. He struck again early in the second, finishing a two-on-one opportunity in style. To complete the hat trick, Pastrnak buried a rebound late in the second period, prompting a shower of hats from the ecstatic home crowd. That season, Pastrnak claimed the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the League’s top goal-scorer, sharing the honor with Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin with an impressive 48 goals.
