Despite being outshot 34-18 by the Golden Knights in Las Vegas, the Arizona Coyotes managed to secure a narrow 2-0 victory, thanks in large part to goaltender Connor Ingram, who made several crucial saves throughout the game. In the first period, during a Vegas power play, Ingram thwarted Jack Eichel's shot from the point and then denied Mark Stone's subsequent rebound attempt. Midway through the scoreless second period, Ingram made a key stop on Michael Amadio's attempts. Late in the second period, with the game still tied and Vegas on another power play, Ingram skillfully caught Alex Pietrangelo's redirection out of the air with his glove. Arizona eventually found the net in the third period and sealed the win with an empty-net goal, while Ingram impressively stopped all 34 shots he faced.
