Peter Forsberg won the Calder Trophy during the 1994-95 season, registering 50 points in just 47 games during his rookie campaign with the Quebec Nordiques. In his third career game, Forsberg scored his first goal on a 2-on-1 break against Buffalo. Drafted by Philadelphia with the sixth overall pick in 1991, Forsberg arrived in Quebec as part of the Eric Lindros trade. After the franchise relocated to Colorado, Forsberg went on to win two Stanley Cups with the Avalanche along with the Hart Trophy and Art Ross Trophy.
