In the second period against the Islanders, Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki took a feed from close range and snapped home his 29th goal of the season at 15:56, breaking the ice in what turned into a 4-1 Montreal victory. That tally pushed the center to his 100th point of the 2025-26 campaign, the first time he has ever reached the century mark in his NHL career.
Suzuki added an assist just moments later and closed the season with 29 goals and 72 assists for 101 points in 82 games. The milestone also made him the first Montreal player to hit 100 points since 1986.
