This seasonal set features an elite guardian ascending the throne, a scoring mark not seen for decades, an assist milestone achieved by only five players in hockey history, and other noteworthy feats. These standout performances are defining moments in players' careers, poised to become enduring landmarks in NHL history as each athlete leaves their mark on the ice.&nbsp;

In 2000, Scott Stevens won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Stanley Cup Playoffs MVP, leading the New Jersey Devils to their second Stanley Cup championship. Renowned for his physical presence and leadership, Stevens anchored the defense and helped shut down opponents' best players, embodying the team's resilience and tenacity throughout its successful playoff run.
In Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Florida Panthers, Stevens led a 2-on-1 rush up the ice in the third period. After passing the puck to John Madden, Stevens received it back, moved it to his backhand, and tucked it five-hole past the netminder for the game-winning goal.
In Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Stevens made his presence felt by delivering a big hit that immediately stopped the Maple Leafs' rush. His defensive contributions throughout the 2000 NHL Playoffs were crucial to the Devils' success.
In Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Dallas Stars, Stevens scored the eventual game-winner. After receiving a drop pass from Jay Pandolfo, Stevens teed up and blasted a shot that eluded the netminder. The Devils would eventually clinch the series in six games and Stevens tied for the League lead in plus/minus (+9).

Scott Stevens

A winner of three Stanley Cup championships with the Chicago Blackhawks, Patrick Kane took home the Conn Smythe Trophy for his outstanding performance during the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Kane's offensive brilliance was on full display as he tallied 19 points in 23 playoff games, including two game-winning goals.
In the Western Conference Final against the Los Angeles Kings, Kane scored the series winner in double overtime of Game 5. The play unfolded during a 2-on-1 rush up the ice with teammate Jonathan Toews. Toews passed the puck to Kane near the top of the circle, and Kane fired a one-timer past the outstretched netminder for his third goal of the game.
In Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, with the series tied, Kane scored his second game-winner of the playoffs. After Bryan Bickell took the initial shot, he went behind the net and threw it out front. Kane got to the bouncing puck first and sent a backhand into the net. Chicago won this pivotal game and then went on to clinch their second Stanley Cup championship in four years in the next game.
Kane’s clutch performances in critical moments, combined with his skill and creativity, cemented his status as the postseason’s most valuable player.

Patrick Kane

Jean-Sebastien Giguere won the 2003 Conn Smythe Trophy as the Stanley Cup Playoffs MVP, leading the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim to the Stanley Cup Final with outstanding goaltending, despite the team ultimately losing to the New Jersey Devils.
Facing the heavily favored, defending Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings in the first round, Giguere had an incredible performance in his first-ever playoff game, stopping a staggering 63 shots in a 2-1 triple-overtime victory on the road. One of his best saves came when he stopped Igor Larionov at the side of the net, preventing a tap-in rebound with a swift glove save.
In the Western Conference Semifinals against the Dallas Stars, Giguere robbed Mike Modano in the third period of a scoreless Game 4, which Anaheim won 1-0 to gain a commanding 3-1 series lead. His incredible save earned loud cheers from the home crowd.
Against the Minnesota Wild in the Western Conference Final, Giguere was again nearly unbeatable. In the four-game sweep, he allowed only one goal, stopping 122 shots. In Game 1 of that series, during a Minnesota power play, Giguere made a diving stick save to rob the Wild of a sure goal headed for an open net. He recorded a shutout that evening with a 1-0 win in double overtime.
Giguere’s remarkable playoff performance included five shutouts, a 1.62 goals-against average, and a .945 save percentage, making him only the fifth player, at that time, from a losing team to win the Conn Smythe Trophy.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere

Propelling the Detroit Red Wings to their 11th Stanley Cup championship, Henrik Zetterberg won the 2008 Conn Smythe Trophy. Zetterberg's exceptional two-way play, combined with his offensive contributions, earned him the award.
In the clinching Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Colorado Avalanche, Zetterberg scored a spectacular goal, his second of the night. After receiving a drop pass, he took an initial shot that was stopped, then spun around and swatted the puck on his backhand while falling.
On the road in Dallas for Game 3 of the Western Conference Final, Zetterberg scored an unassisted shorthanded goal early in the third period. Rushing down the ice with the puck, he maneuvered around a defender and patiently waited for a good angle before firing it into the net, helping Detroit to a commanding 3-0 series lead.
During the third period of Game 4 in the Stanley Cup Final, Zetterberg was tasked with killing a 5-on-3 advantage for the Pittsburgh Penguins while Detroit held a slim one-goal lead. The defining moment of his tremendous shift was when he stopped Sidney Crosby’s attempt at the side of an open net, showcasing Zetterberg’s remarkable defensive play throughout the playoffs.
Leading the playoffs in scoring with 27 points, Zetterberg demonstrated clutch performance in critical moments, solidifying his status as a pivotal player in the Red Wings' successful postseason campaign.

Henrik Zetterberg

Brad Richards won the 2004 Conn Smythe Trophy as the Stanley Cup Playoffs MVP, playing a crucial role in leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to their first Stanley Cup championship. Richards excelled with 26 points in 23 games, leading all players in the postseason.
Facing the Montreal Canadiens in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Richards netted the Game 3 overtime winner in Montreal to give Tampa Bay a commanding 3-0 series lead. After taking the initial shot, which was stopped, Richards collected the rebound behind the goal line and banked it in off the goalie.
During the Eastern Conference Final against the Philadelphia Flyers, Richards scored two more game-winning goals including the decisive tally in Game 1. Positioned in front of the Flyers' net, Richards sniffed out the rebound and sent a backhander into the back of the net.
In the Stanley Cup Final, down 2-1 in the series against the Calgary Flames, Richards scored the only goal of Game 4, his seventh and last game-winner of the 2004 postseason, setting a record for most game-winning goals in a single Stanley Cup Playoffs. On a power play, Dave Andreychuk passed the puck to Richards, who blasted a one-timer past the netminder. Tampa Bay went on to win the series in seven games.

Brad Richards

Winning the 1989 Conn Smythe Trophy as the Stanley Cup Playoffs MVP, Al MacInnis played a crucial role in leading the Calgary Flames to their first Stanley Cup championship. As a defenseman, MacInnis demonstrated his powerful shot and playmaking abilities, amassing 31 points in 22 games, the most of any player that year.
In Game 4 of the Clarence Campbell Conference Finals, on the road in Chicago, MacInnis scored the overtime winner with a powerful slapshot past Alain Chevrier, giving Calgary a 3-1 series lead. The Flames then closed out the series in the next game, advancing to the Stanley Cup Final against the Montreal Canadiens.
During Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, with the Flames down two games to one, MacInnis skated the puck end-to-end before unleashing another big slapshot that beat Patrick Roy. This late third-period goal proved to be the game-winner, evening the series with the Canadiens. In the following game, MacInnis scored yet another crucial goal with a power-play slapshot in the final minute of the first period. This goal, his seventh of the playoffs, was also a game-winner.
The dominant performance by MacInnis at both ends of the ice was pivotal in the Flames’ successful postseason run, cementing his legacy as a key contributor to their historic championship victory.
